Independent assurance over a defined service and its controls.
A website scan score, published policy or hosting provider's certification is not a certification of Near Choice. Any future listing will identify the issuer, scope and validity or audit period.
These technical safeguards are listed separately from independent certifications. Production deployment and certificate issuance have not yet been verified.
Implemented for individual restaurant payment-settings files, with authenticated encryption and a fresh encryption key for each save. Secure hosting activation is pending.
RSA-OAEP-SHA256 key wrapping is implemented. An officially issued certificate is planned; its issuer, scope and validity will be listed only after issuance and verification. Protected, non-exportable private-key deployment is pending.
AES-256-GCM is an encryption method, not a certificate issued to Near Choice. An RSA digital certificate does not certify the application's overall security or establish ISO, SOC 2 or FIPS validation. Private keys and payment credentials are never published here.
